London Senior Producer (Maternity Cover/Freelance)

‘INK’ is a post-production company based in East London, with studios in Paris and Amsterdam. We produce work for industry-leading photographers and brands, from global advertising campaigns to indie publications.

We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Producer who is passionate about photography to join our team. They will work closely with the Head of Studio, Operations Manager and Account Director to ensure smooth running of all the studio’s output.

The ideal candidate is determined and personable with a ‘can do’ attitude. Accuracy and an attention to detail in their work is essential. The candidate requires strong organisational skills, good problem-solving capabilities and must be able to juggle responsibilities whilst prioritising effectively.

Salary competitive. There is also the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-production of jobs from initial schedules and estimates to final project delivery, coordinating briefs, treatments and deliverables with fast-paced, clear communication.
  • Enable the creative process, seeking to make possible what creatives and photographers wish to achieve whilst keeping it within budget.
  • Attend client kick-off meetings and PPMs to provide input on post-requirements that may shape production needs.
  • Maintaining project-management software (Asana) with projects/deadlines.
  • Reconciliation of jobs, invoicing and liaising with the accounts department.
  • Manage a smooth and consistent post-production workflow whilst looking for opportunities to optimise processes and output.
  • Lead, engage and unite a diverse team of producers.
  • Work with the production team to flag any overage costs or budget queries that can be relayed to the client.
  • Assist the Head of Studio and Head of Strategy in improving our overall post offering.

Core Competencies:

  • Good Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with the Adobe suite is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Box, Slack.
  • A willingness to learn on the job.
  • Familiarity with the media environment in which the content lives and the creative and technical requirements for each.
  • Interest in the sector.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Tenacity and professional pride to deliver work to the requisite level and on schedule.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communicational skills.
